FALIA supports activities promoting insurance literacy together with governments and life insurance associations of such countries, to develop life insurance in Asian countries.

FALIA and Philippine Life Insurance Association, Inc. (PLIA) collaborate on the FALIA-PLIA Essay Writing Competition on the value of life insurance and financial literacy classes targeting Filipino high school students. Top winners of the essay contest are invited to Japan, where they are encouraged to deepen their understanding of life insurance by visiting a Japan’s life insurance company, and encounter Japanese culture through time spent with Japanese students.
