From March 24 to 27, 2025, we visited Sri Lanka and held the country’s first overseas seminar in nine years at the Sri Lanka Insurance Institute. With approximately 130 professionals from the local insurance industry in attendance, Mr. Tanaka, Managing Director of FALIA, delivered a lecture on sustainable insurance.
Additionally, we hosted an alumni gathering in Colombo for participants of FALIA’s seminars in Japan, further strengthening our professional network.
We also paid courtesy visits to the Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka, which oversees the country’s insurance sector, as well as major life insurance companies such as Ceylinco Life and HNB Assurance. Furthermore, we attended the MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table) award ceremony hosted by Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation.
Through these engagements, we had the opportunity to exchange views with key figures on various challenges facing the insurance industry as a whole.
