From February 25 to 28, 2025, we visited Malaysia and held a seminar hosted by the Asian Institute of Insurance, the first such event in the country in nine years. Approximately 50 professionals from the Malaysian insurance industry attended, and Mr. Tanaka, Managing Director of FALIA, delivered a lecture on sustainable insurance.
Following the seminar, we hosted a reception attended by seminar participants and alumni of our seminar programs in Japan. The event provided an opportunity to foster friendships in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Additionally, we paid courtesy visits to Bank Negara Malaysia (the central bank of Malaysia), which supervises the country’s insurance industry, as well as the Life Insurance Association of Malaysia and the General Insurance Association of Malaysia. During these visits, we exchanged views on various challenges currently facing the insurance industry.
